Caldwell University is pleased to announce the 79th Annual Commencement on Sunday, May, 23, 2021* to celebrate our graduates!

Each ceremony has distinctive tickets for guest admissions, as well as reporting times for degree recipients. Tickets will be distributed to participating graduates only and all guests must have tickets to attend this outdoor event, including infants and children.

*This event is rain or shine and subject to change based on the state of New Jersey guidance and/or executive orders or necessary pandemic response.

2021 Commencement ceremonies will be segmented as follows:

10:00 a.m. – Graduate Students

1:00 p.m. – Bachelor of Science (except Psychology), Bachelor of Science in Nursing graduates

4:00 p.m. – Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science (Psychology), and Bachelor of Fine Arts graduates

Commencement Liturgy

In the spirit of our Catholic and Dominican Tradition at Caldwell University, we will celebrate Liturgy on the Saturday of Commencement weekend.

• The celebration of the Liturgy begins at 4:00 p.m., and is open to all graduating students, their families and friends, faculty and staff of Caldwell University.
• Attendance at this service will fulfill Sunday Liturgy requirements. Tickets are not required for the service and guests of all faith traditions are welcome.
• Face coverings and social distancing are required.
• *This event will be held in accordance with guidelines of the Archdiocese of Newark regarding liturgical celebrations during the COVID-19 pandemic.
