Do you already have your master’s degree but need additional graduate courses to fulfill New Jersey LPC requirements? According to the N.J. Professional Counselor Licensing Act, to become a licensed professional counselor, a candidate must have achieved a graduate degree in counseling and as part of the graduate study, successfully completed a minimum of 60 graduate semester hours, 45 of which must be distributed across eight of nine designated areas.

Admission Requirements
Note – The application deadlines for the M.A. in Counseling with School Counseling Specialization are:
April 1 – Summer; June 1 – Fall; December 1 – Spring Semesters
Applications received after the posted deadline will be considered, however, depending on available class space, acceptance may be deferred.
