A grand slam! Professor earns fourth academic degree from Caldwell
Jeffrey Egnatovich, Ed. D. has broken a record, becoming the first student to ever earn four degrees from Caldwell University. Egnatovich, Caldwell’s director of graduate studies and program coordinator of healthcare administration, recently completed his doctorate in educational leadership.
Egnatovich began his studies at Caldwell as an adult student in January 2004, earning a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration. “During my first semester, I met several faculty members eager to work with me to achieve my goals. Among them was Virginia Rich in the School of Business and Computer Sciences. Professor Rich helped guide me through my undergraduate journey and supported my decision to enter the MBA program at Caldwell.”
In the MBA program he found that the faculty pushed him and the other students outside their comfort zones. “I took many lessons from my studies at Caldwell and applied them to my healthcare administration career,” he explains.Egnatovich’s work in hospital nursing administration includes clinical operations, data analysis, and even critical care transport as a nurse/paramedic.
Egnatovich began teaching in Caldwell’s healthcare administration program in the School of Business in 2016. To further his healthcare administration and higher education career, he enrolled in the educational leadership doctoral program and the Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
“Since starting my relationship at Caldwell 18 years ago, I have met and worked with many dedicated and talented faculty and staff members who make Caldwell University a fantastic place to work and study. These attributes explain why I continued my studies at Caldwell and became one of many who have received three degrees from Caldwell University, and now, the first to receive four degrees.”
