Marks Named CACC Bowler of the Week

Senior Lauren Marks (Parsippany, N.J.) was named CACC Bowler of the Week for the week ending March 3, the league announced today.

Marks posted the highest scoring average in the entire field (209.4) on Saturday, then logged a 19.9 frame average in the Baker Format on Sunday, helping CU to a 7-3 record over the weekend and 15-5 overall mark at the CACC Invitational, earning the regular season crown and No. 1 seed at the CACC Championships later this month.

Marks was a CACC All-Academic, First Team All-Conference and All-Tournament Team performer last year when the Cougars won the league championship.

The Cougars next visit the Northeast Roundup on March 16 and 17 in New Castle, Del., before the CACC Championships on March 22-24 in Southampton, Pa.
