Learning Differences Program–SOAR
College students with learning differences are every bit as talented and ambitious as their classmates and our new SOAR (Student Outreach and Academic Resources) program is designed to help them reach their full potential and succeed both as students and graduates.
SOAR – Student Outreach and Academic Resources
Caldwell University’s new four-year program was designed to foster academic success for students with a documented diagnosis of a language-based and/or neurological learning disability (including, but not limited to, dyslexia, dyscalculia, dysgraphia, processing deficits) and/or attention deficit disorders (ADD, ADHD). The goal of the SOAR program is to help students with learning disabilities succeed in developing college level skills and strategies.
The SOAR program provides specialized support programs for young adults who have the potential to succeed academically, but may face obstacles. Caldwell University’s SOAR program provides tutors, mentors and academic facilitators who assist students with specialized social and academic support in preparation for graduation and their future careers.
