Graduates are grateful for their scholarships and the benefactors
2022 graduates of Caldwell University Yaman Thapa, Destiny Gonzalez-Ortiz and Walter Gimenez share how they are thankful for their Caldwell University scholarships and the benefactors who helped make their educations possible.
Thapa, who earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry with a minor in Neuroscience, will be attending Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory in Cold Spring, New York to pursue her Ph.D. Gonzalez-Ortiz received a Bachelor of Arts in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. She has been accepted to the Johns Hopkins Diversity Summer Internship Program. In the future, she plans to apply to medical school. Gimenez received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with minors in Finance and Global Business. He has been working as a finance intern at an investment advisory brokerage firm in Chatham, New Jersey. He plans to pursue becoming a certified financial planner and a certified financial analyst, and he will be attending graduate school to earn a master’s in finance.
The graduates talk about how Caldwell has opened doors for them in research, leadership and internships, and the many ways they have been encouraged and supported by the University’s faculty, staff, administration and trustees in pursuing their hopes and dreams.
