Certificate in Data Analytics
Caldwell University’s Certificate in Data Analytics is a 21-credit program offered by the School of Business and Computer Science. The certificate can be completed over the course of an academic year through evening and online classes.
This post-secondary course of study provides the skills needed to make data-driven decisions for common business challenges faced by companies. The analytics process is a collection of interrelated activities that lead to better decisions and to enhanced business performance.
Program Outcomes
You will gain experience collecting, analyzing, and preparing data for constructing data visualization tools to provide insight into the data. The combined courses in this certificate program of study will prepare you for careers in a high-demand, well-compensated sector that is crucial for the success of corporations, nonprofit entities, and government agencies in the global marketplace.

● CS 260 Data Management Systems
● CS 340 Introduction to Data Science & Data Analytics
● BU 301 Business Analytics (with data visualization)
● BU 305 Introduction to Statistics
● BU/CS Data Analytics Research Seminar (capstone)
The 21-credit data analytics certificate program is open to applicants with a high school diploma.
