The Caldwell Commitment

New students (incoming freshmen and transfers) can qualify for additional scholarships up to full tuition.
Full tuition grants and scholarships are being awarded to incoming freshman and transfer students for who receive both Federal Pell Grants and the New Jersey Tuition Aid Grant (TAG) and have at least a 3.0 high school GPA.
- The Federal Pell Grant program awards need-based grants to low-income undergraduate students.
- The New Jersey Tuition Aid Grant (TAG) is a need-based financial aid program for full-time undergraduate students who reside in New Jersey and are enrolled in an approved degree or certificate program.
The “Caldwell Commitment” program provides transparent scholarship and grant monies to students entering Caldwell University based on academic merit and financial needs. Awards may cover tuition, the comprehensive fee and technology fee.
Students who want to take advantage of the Caldwell Commitment grant must be admitted to Caldwell University and file the free application for Federal Student Aid known as FAFSA by the February 1st priority deadline to determine eligibility.
Additionally, academic scholarships for all admitted students regardless of federal and state grant eligibility will be awarded on the basis of high school GPA as follows:

Additional Financial Aid
For students who are not eligible for the program, Caldwell provides other generous financial aid awards with significant need-based assistance in addition to the merit scholarship program to help make a university education affordable. See below for details.
