Caldwell University’s Founder’s Day Celebration to Feature Talk on Ministry in the 21st Century
Caldwell, NJ – February 25, 2013 – Caldwell University will hold its annual Founder’s Day celebration on Wed. March 20. Dr. Zeni Fox, professor of pastoral theology at Immaculate Conception Seminary, Seton Hall University will present on “Ministry in the 21st Century” at 4 p.m. in the Westervelt Lecture Hall in Werner Hall on Caldwell’s campus. The lecture is free and open to the public.
Mass will be celebrated at noon in the Student Center Gym. Following Mass, staff and faculty will be recognized for their years of service to Caldwell University.
Dr. Fox is the author of “New Ecclesial Ministry: Lay Professionals Serving the Church”, revised and expanded, Sheed and Ward. For over ten years, she served as an advisor to the Bishops’ Sub-committee on Lay Ministry as they developed “Co-Workers in the Vineyard of the Lord: A Resource for Guiding the Development of Lay Ecclesial Ministry”. She lectures frequently around the country and has articles and book reviews published in various pastoral journals.
