Classmates of Mary Grassano Armstrong ’69 donated to a memorial fund that was used to purchase a bench in front of Mother Joseph Residence Hall. Mary died in December of 2011 after a battle with cancer and her classmates organized a bench dedication and luncheon at the college on June 2. Mary’s husband, children, and family joined classmates in sharing memories of her vivacious spirit. The plaque on the bench will be an enduring testimony to the friendship she shared with classmates over many years.
