Caldwell Honored with Prestigious Hispanic-Serving Institution Award
Caldwell University was honored as a recipient of the Angeles Investors’ HSI (Hispanic-Serving Institution) Impact Award for its work in serving Hispanic students. The award was presented at a celebration and investors conference in Chicago on August 18.
The HSI awards are given by Angeles Investors to find, fund and grow the most promising Hispanic and Latinx ventures. Angeles Investors supports the most exciting startups driven by Hispanic or Latinx entrepreneurs, investors and board members.
Ivonne Valdes ’80, a member of the University’s Board of Trustees, nominated Caldwell for an HSI Impact Award. “I am excited to have my alma mater recognized. Caldwell University is an institution that encourages critical thinking, a global mindset and community and social involvement.” 🟥
