Application Essay Topics

You should submit, along with your completed application, a graded essay/term paper written in the last year or submit a response to one of the following questions using between 250 and 500 words:

1. Who are the people who have done the most to influence your personal development and in what ways were they influential?
2. How do you feel a college degree will allow you to be a better person and help others?
3. An essay of your choosing that will allow the admissions committee more insight to you as a person and your academic performance.

You may also submit a graded paper with your supporting documents in lieu of an essay.

You should type, sign and date your essay.

If you are applying to our honors program, the Caldwell Scholars, you must submit both a graded essay or term paper and an essay answering one of the above topic questions.
