Professional Licensure and Certification
Professional licensure and certification requirements often vary from state to state. Membership in NC-SARA does not recognize nor currently support reciprocity for state licensing educational requirements. Therefore, students enrolled or considering enrollment in Caldwell University academic programs that lead to obtaining professional licensure, should be aware if the program does or does not meet professional licensure or certificate requirements in the state where, as a graduate, the student plans to practice their profession. It is highly recommended that prospective students contact the appropriate licensing agency to seek information and additional guidance before beginning a program outside of your state.
Relocating during the course of a program to another state may impact if the student can remain in the program and meet the state licensure requirements. Prior to relocation, please contact your program coordinator to discuss authorization and licensure eligibility requirements.
