Kappa Delta Epsilon
The National fraternity, KDE, was founded on April 23, 1933, in Washington, D.C., at the suggestion of the Executive Council of Kappa Phi Kappa. The colleges and universities represented at the meeting became charter chapters of the National Organization: Allegheny College, Birmingham-Southern College, Cornell University, Emory University, Illinois State University, and Temple University. Our university is a member of the Gamma Gamma chapter.

Kappa Delta Creed
To love, respect, understand and guide the students for a life
of unfolding possibilities is the task of a teacher; to give aid,
counsel, and support to fellow teachers and to all agencies
promoting the love of truth, beauty and goodness is the
