Presently, I am the Assistant Dean of the School of Nursing and Public Health. My clinical areas of expertise include chronic disease management with a focus on diabetes. My own Doctor of Nursing Practice project focused on transitional care nursing and my current practice involves ensuring the highest level of quality care is being provided to one of the most vulnerable populations.Throughout my professional practice, I aim to provide high-quality care and education to those with chronicd disease by communicating, collaborating, and applying evidence-based practice to promote the best outcomes. As a nursing faculty member and administrator working in higher education, I am dedicated to promoting student success and positive program outcomes. I believe a student’s success is built through being an active, engaged learner, receiving positive mentoring, and being exposed to varied experiential learning opportunities. I enjoy problem-solving and collaborating with colleagues to build programs to meet needs and improve outcomes.
