He is also the host of the monthly podcast “Hot Media with Bob Mann.” The podcast series, about journalism and entertainment, can be heard on Spotify, Apple Podcasts and most major platforms. Throughout most of his career as an educator, Mann has also been a professional broadcaster. At Caldwell. Mann served six consecutive terms as President of the Faculty Council. He has been honored with the Caldwell Cup (2014) and the Excellence in Teaching Award (2023). The courses he teaches include Broadcast Journalism, Radio Broadcasting and Podcasting, Media & Society and Sports Media. His wife, Cathy, teaches in Caldwell’s Education Department. His son Chris hosts the online game show “The Movie Quiz.” Bob’s interests include travel, movies, boogie boarding, Yankee baseball and spending time with his grandchildren Desmond and Clara. He also plays golf, but he isn’t that good. Bob was born and raised in Brooklyn and currently lives in Bergen County NJ.
