Climate Change Convergence
Visceglia Gallery Presents Climate Change Convergence: A Multi-Disciplinary Exposition
The Visceglia Gallery at Caldwell University proudly presents “Climate Change Convergence: A Multi-Disciplinary Exposition” to run Oct. 20 through Nov. 19. A reception will be held Wednesday, Oct. 29, from noon to 2 p.m. Both events are free and open to the public.
The convergence will bring together students, faculty and staff from the greater university community to share their diverse perspectives on the complex and challenging issue of climate change. Participants will offer their ideas and responses through artwork, stories, poetry, informed commentary, scientific data, media analysis and sustainability guidelines in a multi-disciplinary commons.
“The idea the Convergence is to collectively engage and focus on this large and perhaps overwhelming subject of climate change in ways that are meaningful for each participant”, said Professor Kendall Baker, director of the Visceglia Gallery. The convergence is interdepartmental, with contributions from Caldwell University students, staff and faculty in Art, Business, Communications, Education, English, Freshmen Connect, Nursing, Psychology, Theology & Philosophy, Science, and Sociology, as well as the TriBeta (Biology Honors Society), Library, Counseling Center, Learning Center, Sisters of St. Dominic, and Genesis Farm.
