The Christmas Spectacular! concert was a great success with about 500 people in attendance. The concert featured the University Chorale performing Gwenyth Walker’s “Rejoice” with piano, percussion, and brass ensemble, as well as the familiar “Carol of the Bells” and the traditional “Dominican Magnificat.” The University Wind Ensemble and High School Honor Band performed several challenging works, including Elliot Del Borgo’s “Christmas Variants” and Leroy Anderson’s “A Christmas Festival”. Over 90 musicians performed with the Wind Ensemble, including 45 high school band students from the following schools: Cedar Grove, Glen Ridge, Infinity Institute, Jose Marti STEM, North Arlington, Nutley, Passaic, Roselle, Union City, Verona, Wayne Hills, and West Essex.
