Kappa Pi
Kappa Pi is an international honor society that has been in existence for 100 years. With over one hundred chapters throughout the United States, it supports and recognizes excellence in talent and creativity.
We invite submissions each November for those students who would like to be considered for induction into this society.
To be considered you must meet the following criteria:
- completion of 12 semester hours in art
- attainment of an overall B average in all art courses
- an overall academic average of a C
- produce outstanding artwork
TO APPLY:
- You must fill out an application, which you can get from Professor Baron, and attach an unofficial transcript.
- Create a PPT presentation (or PDF) of 10-15 works in media that display your best artistic achievements (the selection should be somewhat varied). Please do not “design” your PPT, just include each image and its caption on a black background. Title your PPT (or PDF) with your last name followed by “Portfolio2024.”
- Lastly, please upload all documents and files to Google Drive, and share it with sbaron@caldwell.edu
The Department of Visual Art & Design faculty will review portfolios and you will be notified about the faculty’s decision before the end of the semester. Please see any faculty member if you have additional questions.
