International Student Orientation

Who:

All new international F-1 students must participate in the mandatory International Student Orientation. This includes new undergraduate, transfer and graduate students.

What:

During orientation, we will introduce you to several members of the Caldwell community, we will share our values and traditions, and show you how you can have a rewarding experience with meeting and exceeding your educational endeavors! We will provide you all the information you need to know to maintain your legal F1 status.

When:

The Fall 2023 dates for the international student orientation are Wednesday, August 23, and Thursday, August 24.

Where:

Orientation will be held at Caldwell University. The specific location for the sessions will be announced to new students via email.

Why:

Beginning the study at a university can be daunting. We realize that as an international student, you face additional challenges adapting to and succeeding in a demanding environment. Orientation is a time for you to learn as much as you can about the university, and become situated in your new environment before starting your full course of study. We also focus on a few key values that we feel students should embody throughout Orientation, and you can learn more about those in the below section.
