Caldwell, N.J. – Caldwell University jumped 13 spots in one year among the top 100 Best Regional Universities in the North, according to U.S. News & World Report’s 2024 higher education rankings.  The upward movement is a terrific ascent in a category that Caldwell has been ranked in multiple times before.

The University is also listed as a top 100 Best Value School among regional universities north ranking 13th, and as a Top Performer on Social Mobility, 13th, among all northern regional institutions, two accolades that the University has earned in previous years.  The social mobility ranking is based on how universities and colleges enroll and graduate economically disadvantaged students who are awarded Federal Pell Grants.

“Recognition in the U.S. News & World Report Best Colleges rankings is always gratifying and is the result of the Caldwell University community’s collective efforts,” said President Jeffrey D. Senese, Ph.D. “Dedicated faculty, caring staff, supportive alumni, and committed trustees all come together to propel Caldwell forward. I’m particularly pleased to see Caldwell acknowledged so highly as a Best Value institution, reflective of the many ways we strive to offer the highest quality education in the Catholic Dominican tradition at the most affordable price possible.”

U.S. News publishes the Best Colleges rankings each year to provide prospective students and their families with helpful data and information on factors such as graduation rates, social mobility and graduate indebtedness. For more information on enrollment at Caldwell, visit www.caldwell.edu
