Scope of Services
Caldwell University’s Counseling Services provides short-term counseling to help students overcome difficulties that may interfere with accomplishing their educational and personal goals. Caldwell University invites all students to make an appointment to meet with one of our counselors and discuss their concerns. The counselor, in collaboration with the student, will determine if services on campus will best serve the student’s needs, or if a referral for services, outside the center, would be more appropriate.
If you are in or experiencing a crisis:
Crisis intervention services are offered to all eligible students by the University. If you are experiencing a crisis, Counseling Services is available during its business hours to help and can assess immediate risk, provide crisis stabilization, and offer brief supportive services in collaboration with other potentially helpful resources and/or a specialized referral.
