Books at Jennings Library
- Search for print books and ebooks using the “Books & Ebooks” option in the library search box at the top of this page.
- Ebook Collections: find a specific ebook collection and major reference works like the DSM-5 and the MLA Handbook Plus on this list of our ebook collections.
Borrow Materials from Other Libraries
If the Jennings Library doesn’t have a book, article, or other items that you need, you may be able to get it from another library, through Interlibrary Loan or reciprocal borrowing programs with other New Jersey Libraries.
If you search for a book and don’t find it at Jennings Library, search for print books from other libraries by expanding the “Search in These Libraries” filter and selecting “Libraries Worldwide”.
Articles and Databases
Journals – To find a specific journal, use the “Journals” tab on the search box at the top of this page.
Database List – This list includes library databases (such as JSTOR, ProQuest Central, and Credo Reference) as well as other library subscriptions (such as Mango Languages and Academic Writer).

Use the databases below to access streaming music and videos, available online 24/7.
Videos
- Academic Video Online (Alexander Street Press) – Watch documentaries, instructional videos, newsreels, performances, and more from a wide variety of disciplines, including business, humanities, social science, and science.
- Behavioral Mental Health Online – Includes Counseling Therapy in Video and Counseling and Psychotherapy Transcripts. It includes clinical mental health demonstrations, actual therapy sessions, documentaries, psychotherapy transcripts, as well client narratives and reference works.
- Films on Demand – View documentaries, educational videos, newsreels, and interviews from a wide variety of disciplines, including films from BBC, NOVA, PBS, and TEDTalks.
- JoVE Biology Collection – JoVE Core Biology, JoVE Basic Biology, JoVE Advanced Biology
- Expressive Media Film Library – A collection of videos about the practice and the history of art therapy.
Music
- Naxos Music Library (NML) – Access an enormous online library of music, with over 1.7 million tracks. Naxos features primarily classical music, but also includes jazz, blue, contemporary instrumental, and world music.

- Finding Sources – a general introduction to finding different types of sources available at Jennings Library, including books, scholarly and newspaper articles, music and videos, databases, and statistics.
- Self-Paced Online Tutorials – These online tutorials will take you through topics, asking questions to check your understanding. Topics include: Academic Integrity, Finding Books, Plagiarism, MLA Citations and APA Citations.

- NoodleTools – Create a free account in NoodleTools to help you organize your research papers and citations for MLA or APA style.
- Citation Guide – Check out this guide for information on citing in various formats including APA and MLA. It includes properly formatted sample papers.
- Academic Writer – Academic Writer is a tool that provides the resources necessary to learn, research, write, and publish in APA Style, directly from the creators of and experts on APA Style, the American Psychological Association.
- RefWorks – Use this link to access your RefWorks account. RefWorks helps you to manage your research. ONLY use this link if you already have an account.
