Financial Aid Mission Statement
The Office of Financial Aid is committed to providing financial assistance to students who would otherwise be unable to pursue the attainment of their educational and professional goals. Our student-focused employees will provide professional knowledge and personalized service to help students and their families seek and obtain the best use of all financial resources available.
Caldwell University recognizes the fact that many students face financial difficulty in pursuing a college education — approximately 87% of our current students are receiving some form of financial aid. Financial aid is not complicated, but it does require accurate knowledge and planning. This is a brief introduction to the financial aid programs that students may be eligible for at Caldwell University, but it is not all-inclusive.
The goal of the financial aid program at Caldwell University is to provide financial assistance to students who would be unable to attend college without aid. The college expects that students and their parents will contribute to the fullest extent of their ability from income and assets. When students are considering ways to meet college expenses, they should explore all possibilities and pay close attention to application deadlines. It is the student’s responsibility to apply for additional assistance that might be available from other sources such as local grants and scholarships from civic organizations and corporations.
We urge students to contact Caldwell’s Financial Aid Office for additional information, especially if they have unusual financial problems or unanswered questions. When scheduling a campus visit, plan on meeting with the Financial Aid staff for assistance in financing a Caldwell University education.
Caldwell University does not discriminate against financial aid applicants and the subsequent awarding of aid on the basis of race, color, creed, age, national or ethnic origin, or handicap. Most facilities are fully accessible.
There is no obligation on the part of Caldwell University to fund any award based on fraudulent, inaccurate or misleading information. Awards made from federal or state funds are subject to continuing legislative approval.
