B.A. Jersey City State College M.A. Caldwell University Ms. Farina’s research experience includes electrophysiological research on the biomolecular basis of learning and memory at Rutgers University. Her professional development course experience includes extensive PhD level courses in research design, data analysis, cognition, learning, and neurophysiology. Presently, her professional interest has centered on teaching methods that facilitate learning in the undergraduate classroom. Ms. Farina began teaching at Caldwell University in 2001, and teaches courses primarily in BioPsychology, Learning, Statistics, Experimental Psychology, and General Psychology. She is also an On-Line course developer and instructor. She has a passion for student service and takes pride in her belief that teaching is a privilege. In her “off” time, she is an adventurer at heart and spends most of her free time hiking and traveling. |

Dr. Emma L. Kendrick is currently an Associate Professor in the Graduate Counseling program, at Caldwell University. Dr. Kendrick joined Caldwell in the fall of 2012 and teaches graduate courses specifically focused on clinical mental health counseling. In addition to teaching, she also serves as the Program Coordinator for the Graduate Counseling program, in the School of Psychology and Counseling. In her time at Caldwell, Dr. Kendrick has been honored with the “Dream Catcher” and “Graduate Faculty Mentorship” awards, both recognizing her ongoing commitment to counselor education. Dr. Kendrick is fully certified as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in New Jersey, and also holds the national certification of Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS). Her research interests surround counselor competency, counselor screening/selection (in graduate admissions process), and counselor education pedagogy. Dr. Kendrick uses her research to provide workshops throughout the local community, in addition to presenting regularly at national and international conferences. |

Education B.S., Rider University Dr. Stacey Solomon has been teaching at Caldwell University for over 20 years. She holds a School Counselor Certification for the State of New Jersey and is a licensed professional counselor. Dr. Solomon teaches and utilizes a strengths-based, collaborative and compassionate approach to counseling. She has experience working with children, adolescents and adults and enjoys working with individuals from diverse backgrounds. Dr. Solomon received her Ph.D. in Counselor Education from the University of Virginia. |

Ph.D. in Applied Behavior Analysis, Caldwell University Toni Rose Agana, Ph.D., BCBA-D, is an Adjunct Lecturer in the Department of Applied Behavior Analysis and the Department of Psychology and Counseling at Caldwell University. She earned her Ph.D. in Applied Behavior Analysis from Caldwell University under the mentorship of Dr. Tina Sidener. Dr. Agana’s research interests include developing and evaluating early intervention strategies for young learners with developmental disabilities, with a focus on efficient methods for teaching foundational play and language skills. In her clinical work, Dr. Agana is dedicated to providing evidence-based behavioral interventions to autistic individuals and their families. She values collaboration with clients, caregivers, and other key stakeholders to ensure access to meaningful learning experiences tailored to each individual’s developmental level and cultural background. |

Grief and loss is Dr. Parikh’s main area of interest, with a focus on understanding and increasing peer support among college students. Other areas of interest include empathy, multiculturalism, mentorship, first-generation college students, and resiliency. She is an active member of the Association for Death Education and Counseling, an international, interdisciplinary professional organization for those who work with the dying or the bereaved, and has also been involved with National Students of AMF, a network of peer support groups for grieving college students. She enjoys fiction, amigurumi (crochet toys), and long leisurely walks. |
