I received my B.S. Biology from the University of the Philippines. After taking some medical and graduate school courses, I moved to the United States and obtained my Ph.D. in Zoology from Duke University. I was most interested in the intersection of development, morphology, and evolution, especially in animals. My dissertation research was a comparative study of skull development in snakes. I have taught at James Madison University, Longwood College, and New York University. At Caldwell University, I have taught courses in anatomy, physiology, and general biology. I have served as the founding president Caldwell University’s chapter of the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the vice president of the Faculty Council, and the health professions advisor. |
