(Caldwell, NJ) – July 19, 2010 - Caldwell College will host the Annual Homecoming Event in honor of Operation Enduring Freedom/Operation Iraqi Freedom (OEF/OIF) Veterans on Saturday, August 14 from 10 a.m.to 2 p.m., on the college campus at 120 Bloomfield Avenue, Caldwell, NJ. The event is presented by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs New Jersey Health Care System. All military veterans and their family members are invited to attend.
The event will feature a Job Fair for veterans, the Mobile Vet Center, VA Mobile Health unit, and information on numerous Veterans Service Organizations, the Department of Veterans Affairs, college information, special guests, door prizes, and fun for the entire family.
Refreshments will be provided by the Salvation Army. Representatives from dozens of public and private sector employers will provide information on employment opportunities at the G.I. Go Fund sponsored Job Fair. Veterans will be able to receive free health care screenings and gather information on agencies that provide outreach support to veterans and their families.
Representatives from several regional colleges will provide information on educational benefits and opportunities for veterans and family members.
