
Jazz Trombone giant Steve Turre, a member of the Saturday Night Live Band, will perform at Gramercy Brass Band Camp Spectacular Finale Concert at Caldwell College July 31
You can watch him play Saturday nights with the NBC Saturday Night Live Orchestra and now you can see him perform live at Caldwell College in July. Internationally Acclaimed Jazz Trombonist and Recording Artist Steve Turre will be the principal guest artist at the Gramercy Brass Orchestra of New York’s concert on Saturday July 31 at 3 p.m. in the college’s Newman Center.
The Brass Spectacular Finale Concert will take place at the conclusion of the 6th annual Gramercy Brass Band Camp. Over 125 brass and percussion students in grades 4 to 12 will participate in an intense week of ensemble training with principal members of the Gramercy Brass Orchestra from July 25 to July 31. The high point of the camp week happens when students perform side-by-side with the professional members of the Gramercy Brass Orchestra at the finale concert.

General admission to the Brass Spectacular Finale Concert is $20.00; students and seniors over 65 may purchase tickets for $15.00. Tickets to the master class with Steve Turre on Friday, July 30 at 10:30 a.m. are $10.00.
