CALDWELL WOMEN'S BASKETBALL TO PLAY ON NATIONAL TELEVISION

The Caldwell College women’s basketball team has been selected to play in a nationally-televised game against Bloomfield College on Saturday, Feb. 27 in the George R. Newman Center. The Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference game is one of eight NCAA Division II regular-season men’s and women’s basketball games to be televised on CBS College Sports Network this season. It also marks the first time that a contest involving a Caldwell College athletic program will be on national television. Full Story.

Celebrate Black History Month: Black Inventions Exhibit at College

The public is invited to The Black Inventions Exhibit (BIE) that will be traveling to Caldwell College on Friday, February 5, 2010. The touring museum and multimedia presentation pays tribute to black inventors and their contributions to science, aerospace communication, health care, agriculture, transportation and engineering. Entitled “The Awakening: Black Inventors Worldwide,” this collection includes over 150 authentic artifacts, including patent designs, personal letters, rare photographs and brief biographies of American inventors.
